My Powerbook is charging it’s battery again. I’ve replaced the powersupply already and the DC-in board. All for nothing because a screw was the problem. When I bought the Powerbook there we’re 2 screws missing in the memoryslot. It’s hold by 4 screws and mine had 2. I ordered a package of Powerbook screws from eBay and placed 2 screws in the other holes.
I never thought that one of these screws could cause the battery not to charge. Yesterday I just tried it without the long screw, because I had this problem before.
That time the Powerbook didn’t start up at all. So, my advise it to carefully place all the screws back in the holes we’re they belong. :-).
I also updated the memory with 1024 Mb, so the Powerbook has 1,25 Gb memory installed and that is noticable. I had some problems watching flash videos and that problem is solved now. So my Powerbook is working fantasticly!!
